Sound can be a powerful force in the story telling process. It's invisible and tangible at the same time. You can feel it. I suppose it's always been my favorite mode of expression, first in the mode of music, and later in live theatre.

Sound in live theatre is diverse by nature. Mixing a large-cast musical is fundamentally different than producing audio for a Surrealist play. They require substantially different skill sets and modes of understanding. It would be impossible to show a comprehensive body of my work-- so instead, I'll try to highlight the differences and the examples of problem solving.
